Business Intelligence Analyst
ATM Plus Inc, dba Fast Undercar Chula Vista a wholesale distributor of automotive aftermarket
undercar parts to professional installers of all types including national auto repair chains and independent
auto repair garages seeks Business Intelligence Analyst to be responsible for : acquire business
intelligence, analyze gathered data and translate the information to management to develop strategies and
system solutions to stay abreast of business technology trends Collect business intelligence data from
available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources, Analyze competitive
market strategies through analysis of Automotive aftermarket products and share trends. Synthesize
current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action Identify and analyze
industry trends with business strategy implications. Manage timely flow of business intelligence
information to users Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to
improve sales of existing products. Translate business requirements and development of technical
specifications and assist in implementing the new systems. Identify business trends utilizing real data,
compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers. Maintain or update business intelligence tools,
databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. Create forecasting tools using current technology or systems.
Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by
executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Publish information regarding tools, reports, or
metadata enhancements. Oversee or perform tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined
needs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer science and 24 months professional experience as Ops Manager
in in automotive after-market industry, CEO or Business Intelligence Analyst
Additional Requirements: Professional experience in automotive aftermarket business and minimum 2
years of professional work experience in management principles involved in strategic planning, resource
allocation, production methods, and coordination of resources. Professional work experience and
knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This
includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control
systems. Technology skills inventory management system software: prism and vision database
management system software: structured query language SQL, Prism, Campus, Apache Pig componentoriented development software: practical extraction and reporting language PERL, C++ operating system
software: Linux, Microsoft, UNIX web platform development software: PHP hypertext preprocessor,
JavaScript, Hypertext markup language HTML, Microsoft asp.net. Data base user interface and query
software: Filmmaker Pro, Microsoft Access. Data mining software: data warehouse software; Google
analytics graphics or photo imaging software: Adobe systems; Office Suite software: Microsoft Office
